Do you have an emergency savings reserve equal to six months to one years worth of living expenses? How would you pay expenses if you lost your job or had a serious medical emergency? Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) of Lutheran Social Services will sponsor a free financial education class on Wednesday, Feb. 24, from noon to 1 p.m. at the CCCS office, 705 E. 41st Street, Suite 100.
Kay Ashburn, community relations coordinator, will present “Make the Most of Your: Savings,” one of a three-part financial education series featuring information about budgeting, savings and credit. The class is free and open to the public and participants should bring their lunch. Anyone in the Sioux Falls area is likely to benefit from the class. Seating is limited, so reservations are required.
