Public gets chance to weigh in Red Rock Corridor development standards

The Minnehaha County Planning & Zoning Department will hold a public meeting on Jan. 20 to gather public input for the Red Rock Corridor Plan, a document that will guide decisions on future land use and development standards for the Red Rock corridor.
The Red Rock corridor consists of a mile wide strip of land along South Dakota Highway 42 from Six Mile Road to the South Dakota-Iowa border.
The meeting will be held at the Split Rock Township Fire Department, 7201 E. Arrowhead Parkway, at 7 p.m. The meeting is open to the public and all interested parties are encouraged to attend.
